Competencies are the knowledge, skills, or abilities you need to be successful in a career. Each competency statement on is linked to learning resources you can use to learn that competency. This means that all in the same place you can select the career you want to work toward, view the skills you’ll need to work in that career, and simply click on a skill to find resources to learn it. One of the competency frameworks available comes from the Competency Model Clearinghouse and outlines the competencies that employers look for in managers.
